OK, well you'd think we hadn't been up to anything for oh about two years, but its just that we’ve been too busy to update the website.

We did play some gigs since the last one, but truthfully, not many. Hopefully, all that’s about to change.

We have finished recording our 3rd long-player, ‘It ain't what you do, its what it does to you.’ The title is borrowed from Simon Armitage. We recorded 30-odd songs, and have so far whittled these down to 16. This final list of recordings include: a Giant Sand cover version (Artists); a very lo-fi snapshot of the bilious Your Song; the jubilant Hope poisoned my life; and a song that our mums all like (Transitory nodes). The record features 3 vocalists, 3 bass players, violin, banjo, mandolin and melodian. More news about availability to follow soon.

We have also written and learnt a bunch of songs for the fourth LP, which we plan to record this year. These include songs about a squashed bean, roadworks, cutlery, burglars, lunch, work, assassination, and um, relationship break-up.

We did have our first Lazarus Clamp baby (it wasn't some kind of hi-tech joint effort, concocted in a mad scientist’s post-rock proliferation laboratory … but you know what we mean). Congratulations to Huw and Helen - and welcome to Eve.

We also had our second Lazarus Clamp wedding. Congratulations go to Lizzie and Michael.

That’s it. You’re up-to-date.
