Well, we went to Texas, to hang out with out our labelmates Pavo, and to play Austin's huge musicfest, SXSW.

And we did some gigs (Leeds, Newcastle, Leicester). And Michael played his first solo gig (with Cat Power in Leicester), incorporating covers of songs by Lucinda Williams, The Sonics, The Mekons and Cole Porter. It all went rather well. And we finished our second LP. Gigs to follow!

And we learnt a couple of indispensable things. The band that plays together, stays together. The band that eats together, must reach a compromise, based on a set of complex and potentially conflicting dietary requirements, and as a result, may well end up getting damned sick of cereal-based flapjack products.

And we learned that we are on the shelf.
